pad, but you can always use Soft Coated Drumsticks.
Noise
Reduction
One
of the largest complaints regarding drumming is the noise factor.
For all you parents, or anyone living with a drummer, Soft Coated Drumsticks
are a must have. The noise generated from the constant tapping,
clicking and banging of regular sticks could drive anyone crazy.
Soft Coated Drumsticks will greatly reduce the volume from practice, and allow
both drummers and non-drummers to live together in harmony. We all
know that drummers will play on anything within an arms reach; at
least now, everyone won't have to hear it.
Air
Drumming
There
is a common misconception that you always need a drum set or practice
pad to work out your beats and patterns. The reality is you can
still have an effective practice by air drumming, or just tapping
on your legs. The main idea is to go through the motions so that
you form some amount of muscle memory. Soft Coated Drumsticks are ideal for this
type of practice. So the next time you hear a song you can't wait
to play, air drum now, and beat the real kit later.
Drumming
in a whole new light!
If you
just need that extra spark, try the new glow in the dark Soft Coated Drumsticks.
Yes, you heard it, they glow! Simply charge them up with any light,
turn out the lights, and let your imagination do the rest. Glow
sticks will transform any traditional air drum work out into a completely
new experience. Practice and play your favorite beats, or solos
more effectively with Soft Coated Drumsticks glow in the dark drum sticks by
eliminating all other distractions. Glow sticks allow you to focus
on what is most important, the music and how you play it.

Soft
Coated Drumsticks Frequently Asked Questions
Do Soft Coated Drumsticks
feel like traditional drum sticks?
Soft Coated Drumsticks
actually feel more comfortable than traditional sticks because their
soft, durable coating makes them easy to grip. This outer layer
makes them particularly useful when learning to twirl, perform stick
tricks and during a heavy air drum session.
Do Soft Coated Drumsticks
play and rebound like traditional drum sticks?
Soft Coated Drumsticks
play and rebound on most surfaces the same way traditional sticks
do on drums; whereas, traditional sticks do not feel or rebound
the same on other surfaces as they do on actual drums. The purpose
of Soft Coated Drumsticks is to allow a drummer to play on any surface and to
eliminate the need of a practice pad or cymbal mutes. While doing
so, Soft Coated Drumsticks still accurately replicate the feel and rebound of
playing on actual drums.
What surfaces
should Soft Coated Drumsticks be played on?
Anything
that you would be comfortable playing on is the simple answer. Keep
in mind that Soft Coated Drumsticks should not be used on anything breakable,
and play best on hard, firm objects such as a counter top or table.
They also play well on softer things such as an office chair, your
own knee or leg, and even the air itself. During product testing
Soft Coated Drumsticks have been played on several hundred surfaces without damaging
any of them, but please use common sense. The bottom line is they
allow you to play on almost anything.
Do Soft Coated Drumsticks
weigh the same as traditional sticks?
This largely
depends on the sticks that you prefer, but on average, Soft Coated Drumsticks
are slightly heavier. Many sticks on the market will outweigh Soft Coated Drumsticks,
but these do still fall on the heavier end of the spectrum. The
difference is very slight, but will only help strengthen the muscles
used in drumming and further enhance muscle memory. After all, this
is a PRACTICE stick!
How long
will Soft Coated Drumsticks last?
The life
of Soft Coated Drumsticks will depend on the surface that they are played on
and how hard or soft they are played. However, throughout product
testing every generation of Soft Coated Drumsticks received constant abuse and
lasted hundreds of hours. We still have sticks that look, feel and
play like new that have been used on a daily basis for months.
Can Soft Coated Drumsticks
be used on a drum set?
Absolutely!
Although this was not the intent, through product testing we have
found that Soft Coated Drumsticks do sound and play very well on drums. They
rebound and feel very similar to traditional sticks, but not exactly
the same. The difference can best be compared to what traditional
drum sticks feel like on electric drum pads. The noise generated
from the drums and cymbals will also be greatly reduced. Playing
on actual drums will also decrease the life of Soft Coated Drumsticks because
of the wear from cymbals.
