The
Traps Drums Shell-Less Drumset
Never before has there been a portable shell less
drumset that has packed the punch of a full sized
drumset before! Where previous attempts have failed,
the Traps Drums succeeds in creating a fully collapsible,
easy to transport drum kit that retains the powerful
drum sounds of a shelled drumset. Its sturdy design
and easy portability make it great for use as a
viable alternative to a shelled drumset or as a
practice kit.
The
Traps Drum Kit is the first shell-less drum
set to play and sound just like a normal drum set.
This is because of the quality with which the kit
is produced. All of the heads are fitted with REMO
drumheads. The drums are manufactured from very
high quality ABS and feature the traditional tuning
system. A sturdy tubular steel mounting systems
holds the drums in place without any slipping or
moving.
The
snare drum features a Remo Ambassador head
on top and a clear head on the bottom. It comes
with a chrome plated 8 lug steel counterhoop with
high tuning capability, modulated shell with integral
snare bed, and molded lower counterhoop with throw
off and tension.
The
double headed bass drum features an Remo
Powerstroke drumhead on the back and a Remo Ebony
head on the front. It comes with a chrome plated
8 lug steel counter hoops, modulated shell with
double integral mounting system, and built-in steel
plate for bass pedal mounting.
The
tom drums feature Remo Ambassador coated
heads. The 12" and 13" toms come with
a chrome plated 6 lug steel counterhoops and ABS
molded shell with integral mounting system. The
14" tom has a chrome plated 8 lug steel counterhoops
and ABS molded shell with integral mounting system.
The
Traps Drums custom mounting system has a
large 1.5" diameter chromed steel tube rack.
It has multifunction ABS molded brackets and large
molded rubber feet to prevent movement during drumming.
The custom rack system allows the kit to be easily
setup for left or right-handed drummers.
The
quality hardware includes: 2 boom arms;
snare basket; hi-hat stand with pedal; and a bass
drum pedal.. Also included is a drum key.
The cymbals include a 13" Hi-Hat Cymbals,
a 14" Crash Cymbal, and a 18" Crash Ride.
They are custom printed with the "Traps"
logo.
The
drum kit is fully portable and collapses
down to be easily transported between gigs or between
home and practice. They are so compact that one
person can easily move them and the drums can be
folded towards the frame so they can readily fit
in most automobiles (such as pictured below).
